MindVR is a company that makes 3D/360 Virtual Reality videos. Our headquarters is in Redwood City, California.
Our unique camera rig design creates realistic VR experiences. We have overcome the 2-foot distance limitation and reduced parallax errors. This makes editing VR videos easier and allows for detailed close-up shots.
The VR experiences are stunning and immersive. Visitors will keep coming back for more.
Our services offer a variety of post-production options. MindVR provides top-notch virtual reality videos. We also include high-quality audio services. Production includes graphic overlays, animations, and hotspots. Our clients come from entertainment, aerospace, manufacturing, and other commercial industries. Our prices are very affordable.
Founders
Guy Coggins
Visionary
Guy Coggins, an electronics engineer, made high voltage power supplies. It was one of the first to be reliable and affordable. He built Ion Systems. Guy also designed Sight for the Blind: mobility aids for the vision impaired.
Guy founded Aura Imaging in Redwood City, California. The company specialized in biofeedback computer graphics and special effects photography. The company has been in business for over 40 years in Redwood City. He is the current CEO, co-founder, and visionary of MindVR.
Philippe Van Lieu
Head of Videography
Philippe Van Lieu created virtual reality movies for MindVR. He produced all of the company's projects.
He has also had a long history of filmmaking, having worked on film projects in one form or another since 2001.
Philippe graduated from San Francisco State University. He earned a BA in Technical and Professional Writing. Philippe wants to use his writing skills to create the first guide for making cinematic VR films.
Vinson Hudson
Head of Audio
Vinson studied at Berklee College of Music. He learned how to mix and master music from experts like Tom Dowd and Denny Purcell. He still follows their workflow.
Vinson worked with artists like Christopher Williams, Cardi B, The Migos, and Yo Gotti. He helped build music careers from his home studio; The London Lab. Bohemia, also known as The Punjabi Rapper, was London Lab's initial success. He signed with Universal Music Group in 2006 and later with Sony Music. In 2022, Vinson restored and mastered the Charlie Brown Peanuts soundtrack. He worked from the the original master tapes for Lee Mendelson Productions.
Vinson manages the company's audio division. He says, one day, VR will offer more opportunities for entertainers to market their work.
